Remember, everyone: in the United States, “democracy” means voting once every two to four years, choosing between two rich people with largely the exact same views, and then doing absolutely nothing to participate in your own government until the next election cycle—all while your elected leaders make unethical or inhumane decisions based largely off the needs of corporate interests. So it’s of utmost importance that you vote! (Even though the Republicans are going to take over no matter what you do. But, hey, on the bright side: they’ll only be marginally worse than the other guys, then we’ll remember why we voted them out of office in the first place, vote for Democrats, consider it “change we can believe in” for a while, and endlessly repeat the whole cycle over and over and over again until we're finally enslaved by a race of super-intelligent robots and/or extraterrestrials).
Anyway, in case you Minnesotans haven’t done your homework, here are our suggestions (because anyone cares):
Governor: Farheen Hakeem/Dan Dittman (Green)
State Attorney General: Lori Swanson (DFL)
Sec. of State: Mark Ritchie (DFL)
US Representative, District 5: Keith Ellison (DFL)
US Representative, District 6: Tarryl Clark (DFL)
